Pip & Print™ ("Pip & Print," "we," "us," or "our") operates this online store and website. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and protect your personal information when you visit our website, place an order, contact us, or otherwise use our services.

Our store is hosted by Shopify, which provides the ecommerce platform that allows us to offer our products and services to you.

Personal information we collect

Depending on how you interact with our store, we may collect or process the following information:

  • Contact and delivery information, such as your name, email address, phone number, billing address, and shipping address.

  • Order and transaction information, such as the products you order, order value, payment status, shipping details, and previous purchases.

  • Payment information. Payments are processed by Shopify and other payment providers. These providers process the payment details needed to complete your purchase, while we receive the transaction information necessary to manage your order.

  • Account information, if you choose to create a customer account, such as your login details and account preferences.

  • Communications, including information you provide when you contact us about an order or another question.

  • Device and usage information, such as your IP address, browser and device type, network information, and how you use or navigate our website.

  • Marketing preferences, including whether you have chosen to receive marketing communications or consented to optional cookies.

Personal information does not include information that has been anonymized or de-identified so that it can no longer reasonably be linked to you.

How we collect personal information

We may collect personal information:

  • directly from you, for example when you place an order, create an account, or contact us;

  • automatically when you use our website, including through cookies and similar technologies;

  • from Shopify and service providers that help us operate the store, process payments, produce and ship orders, provide analytics, prevent fraud, or deliver advertising; and

  • from advertising or marketing partners when permitted by law.

How we use personal information

We use personal information to:

  • process payments and fulfil, produce, and deliver your order;

  • send order confirmations, shipping updates, and other service-related messages;

  • provide customer support and respond to questions or claims;

  • manage customer accounts, where applicable;

  • maintain, analyze, and improve our website, products, and customer experience;

  • prevent fraud, misuse, and security incidents;

  • comply with legal, tax, accounting, and regulatory obligations; and

  • send marketing communications or show relevant advertising where permitted by law and in accordance with your choices.

Legal bases for processing

Where applicable data protection law requires a legal basis, we process your personal information on one or more of the following grounds:

  • Performance of a contract, such as when we process and deliver your order.

  • Legal obligations, such as accounting, tax, and consumer-protection requirements.

  • Legitimate interests, such as operating and improving our store, providing customer support, preventing fraud, and protecting our business, provided that these interests are not overridden by your rights.

  • Consent, for example for certain marketing activities or optional cookies. You may withdraw your consent at any time without affecting processing that took place before it was withdrawn.

How we disclose personal information

We disclose personal information only when reasonably necessary for the purposes described in this policy. Recipients may include:

  • shipping and delivery providers, which deliver orders and provide tracking;

  • technology, analytics, customer-support, and marketing providers that help us operate and improve the store, subject to your privacy choices where required; and

  • public authorities or other parties when disclosure is required by law, necessary to protect legal rights, or connected with a sale, reorganization, or transfer of the business.

We may also disclose information when you ask us to do so or otherwise give your consent.

Shopify

Shopify collects and processes personal information about your access to and use of our store in order to provide and improve its services. Information submitted through our store may be shared with Shopify and other service providers, including providers located outside the country where you live.

We may use Shopify features that use information from your interactions with our store and other Shopify merchants to help improve services, prevent fraud, and support personalized advertising. In these circumstances, Shopify may be responsible for certain processing of your personal information.

Cookies and personalized advertising

We and our service providers use cookies and similar technologies to operate the website, remember preferences, understand how the store is used, and, where permitted, provide or measure personalized advertising.

Where required, you can accept or reject optional cookies through the cookie banner on our website. Depending on where you live, you may also have the right to opt out of the sale or sharing of personal information or its use for targeted advertising. You can submit such a request through our data-sharing opt-out page.

If your browser sends a recognized Global Privacy Control signal, Shopify may treat it as an opt-out request where required by applicable law. More information is available at globalprivacycontrol.org.

How long we retain personal information

We retain personal information only for as long as reasonably necessary for the purposes described in this policy. The retention period depends on factors such as whether the information is needed to fulfil an order, maintain an account, provide customer support, meet accounting or legal requirements, prevent fraud, resolve disputes, or enforce our agreements.

When personal information is no longer required, we delete or anonymize it in accordance with applicable law and our service providers' retention practices.

International data transfers

Shopify and some of our other service providers may process personal information outside the country where you live. Where required, transfers from the European Economic Area or the United Kingdom are protected by an adequacy decision, approved standard contractual clauses, or another legally recognized transfer mechanism.
